Last year when the contractors were working on our addition, they had about a ton of sand left over and we dumped in on the end of the garden and worked it into the soil.
When we harvested our potatoes this year, we noticed that the potatoes that were planted where the sand was dumped were not only larger, but thier were more per plant........soooooooo.....me being me decided that it would be good to work some sand into the entire garden, so here is 10 tons that we are going to spread around and work into the clay soil........hope it works..!!
