Gabbard Family Thanksgiving 2010
Not sure if anyone ever agreed on how long it had been since we've spent Thanksgiving together as a family, but it had been a looooooooong time......so we descended on Joe Gabbards home in Benton Louisiana and spent the Holiday together.
I have 3 brothers and 1 sister and it was great to get together all at one time.
The "boys" went fishing with Dad on Wednesday and we had a total of 2 bites and no fish caught, but had a lot of laughs getting dad in and out of the boat and also traversing the white capped waves (since the wind was blowing about 30 MPH...!!)
On Thursday, we had a Texas Hold Em tournament and Joe, Dad and Rhonda (the great lady who keeps Jim straight), were the winners........and after dinner, we played live betting and Dad ended up the big winner in that one as well.
It was a quick trip, but well worth it and we look forward to doing it again!!
